I am crafting again YAY!

Good morning this 24th day of June 2017, my goodness how time flies by so fast that I can hardly keep pace with it. I am so happy to say that I have actually started crafting properly after all this time away, it has been hard work to get back into things but although I have changed in what and how I do things I am back to making things again, so I hope you will enjoy visiting me again.
I will start off by showing you one of the albums I have made:

This is a mini album in a bax, a baby album for a baby girl.

The box is made up of chipboard

The cover and spine are made of chipboard

The paper I used was first edition "It's a Girl"

The flowers I used are from Prima

The Template for this large box and album was from Jennifer of Jenofevedesigns
I have so many of her templates and have made some fabulous things with them, go check her out.

I do hope you have enjoyed your visit with me and I would really appreciate it if you would leave a comment below as I love to hear from you all. It has been a long time but hopefully I am back in full swing again.

Just me airing my thoughts....

It has been such a long time since I came on here, so much has happened which has been a surprise to me but I think it has changed the way I'm thinking about things. I have been paper crafting for such a long time but now I can't get back into it.

September I was diagnosed with cancer of the soft pallet in my mouth which was such a shock but it is what it is and I have been through the process of having it removed which has left a hole in the roof of my mouth so I have had to have a plate put on the roof of my mouth with a section which goes into the hole they have left after taking the cancer out.

I had to go back and have that plate removed it had to be done under anaesthesia due to the fact it was screwed in. So now I can smile again as I have a plate with teeth but this is still only temporary but it has a denture so at last I have teeth. This new plate is still screwed in so I will have to have more surgery to have it changed over for my permanent plate.

Since I have had the surgery I don't want to craft any more and I'm having a battle with myself as I have so much stuff and I would like to keep my pen pals and we do something crafty when we reply but I feel like throwing all this stuff away and just keep so very special things which I know I will use. I just can't seem to start the process as I don't know how to sells some of the stuff, I suppose I could use facebook or eBay then having to put prices onto everything!

I thought maybe writing on here each day could help me come to terms with what I want I hope it helps me to do just that :)

Thank you for popping by and reading my journey so far...

Love ~ Lady Anne xxx

OK so here is a small album but I shall be sending it at some point as a flip book, I love the art work which is Jennifer's, such a clever young lady :) There are three albums to make with this set. I just printed the whole thing onto card then put it together by stitching the pages to the spine.

Thank you for visiting and it would be lovely if you could let me know what you think as I love to read your messages :)

Baby Boy Album

Hello friends,
I thought I would share this boy album which I made for the same person as the baby girl one in my previous post. The animals are decoupaged which you can't see on this picture. I made the plaque in Paintshop Pro and I used my Cinch to bind it, I used the blue and white lace because I felt it needed something to soften it. I don't normally enjoy making boy ones but found this one a lot of fun even though I hate to do it quickly.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will leave a comment to let me know what you think.

A baby girl album

Good day everyone,
It is a bit longer than I thought it would be for this post but I have been so busy over the past week with visitors and making this album and another one for a baby boy which I shall put up another day.

This album is for a friend in Spain she has a new Granddaughter "Willow" so this album is for her, my daughter has bought it for Willow's mummy.

I used my PSP to make up the plaque with her name and details on which I did with the photo of Willow. I used some lace which I had in stock and the lace butterfly which was bought on Ebay a while back now. The flowers are from "Wild Orchid Crafts" I love their flowers they are always so pretty, so life like. The dove I have had a while now but thought it looked nice on here. The paper pad I used for the whole album is "First Edition - It's a Girl!" which I love as it is such nice paper plus the patterns are so pretty.
Hope you have enjoy your visit her with me...

I'm back!

Good evening dear friends,
It has been a while since I wrote on here as I was grieving and feeling so sad I didn't want to do anything and have been struggling to do any crafts. I resigned from the DT over at Dragonfly Dreams and have been changing what I am doing these days.

I did start making Pocket Letters which were fun for a while but I then wanted to do something else but unsure of what I wanted to do. Then I found flip books and pen pals and have really enjoyed making friends from all over the world. My latest pen pal I met through Jane Austen Letter Writing Society and am really looking forward to getting to know my new pan pal, Patsy.

I have had a request to make two baby mini albums from Bridget in Spain so what could I do but say yes, I have done the bones of the girl album but haven't started the boys album yet. I think I only have about 10 days to get them done so I had better pull my socks up and get moving :)

I will try to come on here a bit more often and let you know what I'm doing and maybe share a picture or two of things I have made.
